Start Up Prep First session on 30th January 14

Get, set, ready, Go..

We are all set to start your business venture on this Thursday, 30th January 2014 at 6pm, Our first session will be at Seminar Hall No. 2, near Main building.

Class Schedule
Next 4 weeks, you will be studying and working upon tasks which will prepare you for a 5 day full time boot camp which is due to start on 25th February. During these 4 weeks following lecture and workshop meetings will be organized at COEP.

Text Books
For the course, you will need to use the following textbooks extensively.
  1. Business Model Generation by Alexander Osterwalder
  2. Lean Startup by Eric Ries
  3. The Start Up Owner's manual by Steve Blank
In addition there are some more books recommended for reference. A complete list of books is attached with this message. If you have requested Prof Ashok Saraf to buy these books for you, then you can pick the books on 30th Jan. We will also have few more copies of books for purchase on 30th January, 

Laptop
Please bring your laptop with you for every classroom meeting. Please also bring a virus free USB key for easy exchange of files at the classroom.

Presentation about your business idea
On 30th January, each one of you will be required to present in 60 seconds, what is your business idea. You do not need to prepare any powerpoint presentation. Just describe, what is your business idea? what activities you have already performed to start this business? who are in your team? what do you expect to achieve in this course?
